They've had them on there for a few years. They are not on every chair on, its like every 20th chair or something. And its only one lift. Still really stupid.

Different take on this so hear me out. Yeah it's fucking stupid. We don't need more screens in a place that should be reserved to enjoy nature. I do think it's cool how they can provide safety and search announcements as well as allow you to see trail status and maps. Not really functional though unless there's buttons or you take your gloves off. I bet the bar is gonna weigh a fuck ton more. Someone is gonna get a cervical fracture from this bar hitting them lol.

If anything, I like how snowbird has the trail maps on their one lift. I'm a map junky and love studying them. Is really cool to be able to look at it as you're going up the lift.

Vandalism sucks, but it's a fucking ridiculous idea to put these on lifts. I fucking hate and try to avoid gas stations with GSTV. Cool, im trying to pump gas, can you shut the fuck up with your loud as bullshit advertisements. Oh word, it's raining, thanks for the fucking info, I didn't notice on my drive to the gas station. When I ski I'm just trying to chill.

Trail maps on the bar are phenomenal. I don't use them ever really but they're great. Gives people something to look at, you can see the mountain, plan your next run or day. Sweet. Ipads? Go fuck yourself. Fuck you, and everybody else that voted yes on this terrible fucking idea.

Make skiing great again.

They are screens. They are not touch screens. You can't interact with them in any way. They just show a trail map or run ads.

I'd be down to break one. First person to post a vid of themselves breaking one should win some kinda prize. We can have a little contest of some sort.

I’d hate to be the lifty at the top of the lift with these screens. Bet you there are way more riding the bull wheel incidents now that these are installed.

Theres way better places in Colorado to ski anyways.

I didn't know what to expect, but I like them. WP tends to do a rolling start on the lifts on a powder day as they dig out. It's nice to see what lifts are open rather than skiing to the other side of the resort just to find a rope.
