Has anyone tried putting aftermarket footboards in their boots? Got a pair of Atomic Hawx Ultra 130S last season, which I absolutely love, but have found they really kill the heels if you over/undershoot large jumps or land on hard flats. My guess is this is because they have pretty rigid plastic footboards under the liners. Are there any options to replace them with a stiff foam or rubber (e.g., what FT does with their active footboards)? Is this common customization a competent bootfitter could do? Are there aftermarket boards available I could buy and DIY at home?
Appreciate the help.
