HELP POWDER SKI

If searching for a dedicated powder ski from ON3P, from what I’ve heard the Billy Goats are the way to go over the Kartel 116. I can’t say for the woodsman but both Kartels would be more freestyle oriented based since woodsman are freeride more so than freestyle.

I'm more looking for a freestyle pow ski than a freeride ski to charge hard!
Like a pow jib ski would be perfect for my resort usage.

Then I’d have to stand by the Jeffrey 116 as the way to go. ON3P just the way to go from my experience, though as an east coast native we don’t do much powder here. Benchetlers seem more all mountain aimed instead of powder and I can’t say for armada, but they look cool. Hope this helps

Does anyone have skied the Jeffrey 116?

For a freestyle-capable, but still pretty stable pow ski:

- ON3P Jeffrey 116 — very stable, and still totally comfortable throwing tricks and landing / riding switch. But it does have a heft swing weight.
- Moment Wildcat — way lighter, way easier to spin, not as stable, but still one of the best options. Very stable for its weight.
- Icelantic Nomad 115 — kind of a middle-ground between the Jeff and Wildcat. Make sure to mount forward of recommended though
- Armada ARV 116 — very playful option, though not as stable as those above
- Rossignol Black Ops 118 — for maximum stability. Very heavy and not that easy to spin (like the Jeffrey 116), but you can get used to it if you're fairly strong.
- Volkl Revolt 121 — kinda like a more stable ARV 116. Still super loose and surfy, but still impressively stable. Very versatile option.
- K2 Catamaran — if you prioritize looseness / a super surfy feel. Not very stable in chop though
- Line Outline — kinda like the Bent Chet 120 and Catamaran in that it's very loose and super playful, but a bit more stable than the BC 120. But not great for skiing super fast in chop.

My friend skis the Bent Chetler and loves them. He has an aggressive style and they work marvelously.
Personally, I ski the Prodigy 4.0 which allows me jib around, drop cliffs an shred pow.

I would recommend the Prodigy 4.0 as it (from my experience) is a great "pow jib ski".

Ok so as i understand, bechetler and wildcat would be the easier to freestyle on ski?

Bent Chetler is now a very light, playful powder ski that doesn’t love high speeds, crud or tracked out powder as much as the older, heavier versions of that ski.

Honesty think the Moment Wildcat is on another level in its ability to be fairly light and easy to spin, yet can charge crud and be stable at high speeds like a much heavier ski. Easy to pivot in tight spaces yet can carve a turn on soft groomers at 50mph plus. A pair of 184cm Wildcats would be a perfect ski for you! I own the older version of it called the Bibby and I use it often even in lower snowfall areas as it’s so versatile.

And yeah, I think the Wildcat is probably the best option for what you're looking for. Yes, the BC 120 is a bit easier to spin, but the Wildcat is by no means a sluggish ski, and it's a lot more stable at speed and more versatile IMO.

Candide 4.0 is an absolute pow/cliff blasting machine. Definitely take a look at it.

Yeah and a pair of prodigy’s. Both skis are absolutely amazing for powder. Prods are way more playful but the candides are substantially better for faster/harder terrain and they stick airs amazingly well!
