twea.kerI feel as though their styles are matched, Phil is in a way, has a more creative skiing style where his tricks and shots involve a massive amount of technical ability and control even if the trick is not at its core a "tech trick" because of this I think Phil is he more swerve oriented of the two. Henrik competes in a more mainstream stage doing tricks that many of us would consider boring at this point because theres about 1000 euro 12 year olds who can dub 12 both ways in every direction. However his choice of grabs and dripping style in and between tricks is enough to make angsty swerve skiers (like myself) tune in for at least 2 minutes of the x games every year. In conclusion: Phils style embodies the roots of modern street skiing while Henriks unbelievable landings and precise grab/shifty combos make for what has clearly been one of the most important influences on STYLE in freeskiing history. I seriously wish I could choose between who has a better style, thats the point of this thread anyway its like asking which glass of water has a higher concentration of H20 in it.
Remember kids, stay out of the park until you've developed your own style, then you can start learning tricks. Nobody wants to watch you front two off the flat bar while waving your arms around like you're in front of a used car lot.
