Gun violence

You know what I think is funny? How people are blaming video games for these mass shootings, even though we play the same games in the Netherlands but we don't get mass shootings? I'm so tired of this crap and I feel so sorry for all these innocent people getting gunned down.

Yes to all of this. I'm a strong supporter of the second amendment but honestly I feel like the NRA need to step the fuck up and be more vocal. They are nothing more then some old dude who are trying to protect their interests. It's not your grandpa's NRA anymore.
I remember going to high school and kids would still show up with their rifles and shotties hung up in their back window of the truck. Those days are long gone.

Yeah I feel like everyone knows it has nothing to do with video games, same people have been bringing it up for 20 years, but it's based on conjecture.

who or what corporations are lobbying for the NRA in congressional attendence? gurantee that, its in their best interests to facilitate a program of eventual disarment, but first they are profiling the wrongdoers. profit margins above all else. lets make guns illegal just like drugs, that way no one will use them! i find it discomforting, that any protest is futile and that the majority of people have a feeble mind to comprehand the vast expansion of corruption. it is easier to fool a man then to convince he's been fooled. a nation of sheep, ruled by wolves, owned by pigs

Basically the NRA is just a convenient boogieman for Liberal Politicians to blame. Many know most gun violence comes from impoverished inner cities but instead of acknowledging that they make a big grandstand about banning guns and 'assault rifles' knowing that they dont have the political capital to really do anything so they turn around and blame the NRA for stopping them.

Many people in the 2A community hate the NRA's guts right now anyway because they capitalize on legislation scares to sell guns.

I think it’s the fall of correct parenting of children and just that parents simply aren’t raising their kids right anymore.

At the end of the day the bullets come from a gun. There is racist scum and mentally fucked people in Western Europe as well but we don't get all thesr shootings. Also 2nd amendment is outdated anyways, I can't imagine my US friends getting gunned down smh

All these things like raising your kids etc could be right but it's always in combination with an easy access to guns, that's my point.

and i lived in europe for 2+ years, i felt more worried there than i have ever felt in america

I've lived in both the US and Europe and thr feeling of safety is something very subjective and also depends on the location in whether the US or Europe.
