weastcoastThem US East Coast and MidWest skiers are just bred different...
GrandThingsReally the two big misses are no Candide and no Henrik
VinnieFExcept for skiers like Olsson, Hatveit, JP, Wells, Schiller, Burke, Henshaw, Pettit, Abma, McConkey, Gangier, Douglas, etc etc etc. List goes on longer than those from the US..
TRVP_ANGELEU > NA > UK > OC > AS > SA > AF
freeballerWhat are these countries? EU as in the European Union? NA = North America? Those are not countries.

burnsey.I'm not a separatist but Quebec in specific has bred a lot of crazy skiers
GrandThingsI'm not even a very patriotic guy, but America has to be up there just by sheer numbers. Legends like THall, Dumont, Seth Morrison, Wallisch, Mike Wilson, not to mention all the various crews (STEPT, Big Picture, Traveling Circus, most/all of the Good Company guys). Really the two big misses are no Candide and no Henrik
JoeF2661Didn't know there were other countries but Mercia.

Chubz.A lot of people don’t understand that almost all common trends in skiing are birthed from Vermont skiers..
The bunch didn’t develop their infamous style until they spent a season with Liam, beenie, & the Gibson.
JoeF2661So Vermont is to blame.
fredyferl@Chubz. Your opinion is a bit buyous. Skiers in Vermont seem to be heavily influenced by snowboarding and skateboarding, which is sick, but i don't know about the Bunch being that influenced by the HG guys. I'm sure they were already watching a bunch of stuff outside of skiing and that's where they got their style from

Chubz.Kieran Mcveigh revolutionized the whole swerve skiing movement. He was one of the first people to incorporate those types of butters and approaches in his skiing.
Never mentioned anything about HG influencing the bunch dudes but you can clearly see a style shift in the swede’s skiing after spending a season with those Vermont boys.
All im trying to put out there is that a lot of trends in skiing are birthed in the green mountains. I would say sugarbush is one of the most underrated mountains in terms of influence in the ski world. Which is fine by me.
