Newschoolers Fantasy Football Money League V.8

I know a lot of us have been waiting for this day... Football season is right around the corner and there is nothing better than some good ol newschoolers fantasy football! The league has a $25 dollar buy in, same rules as last year, 12 man league, snake draft, half point (0.5) PPR. For payment, we take PayPal, Venmo or Cash App.

Here is the list of participants from last year who have priority to return for this upcoming season. If there is an opening we will select from the waitlist to fill those vacancies. If you are trying to get in on the fun make sure you post in the thread and remember it's first come first serve.

I agree.... We can try to do it labor day weekend or Tuesday maybe Wednesday on the first week of September.

can we make it very explicit what time zone the draft is in so I don't accidentally auto-draft, let's say, Antonio Brown who will undoubtedly retire because the league won't let him wear a helmet that i wore in mighty mites football like 18 years ago...?

29th-5th is the window between end of preseason and regular. I'd rather do a weekend evening than weekday because I have school Monday Wednesday Tuesday

Sat Aug 31 would be prime for me

Is it PPR? I think it’s solid but personally I’m not a huge fan of Fournette. I think Cohen is a solid depth running back and Tyler Boyd improved a lot last year and will prob get a lot of targets with green out.

i would honestly recommend working the waivers if your team underperforms. I was 1-5 to start the season in this league last year and was able to still make the playoffs with some good waiver moves

Looks like a solid reliable team each week. You can always count on the patriots to perform. O Beckham Jr is a solid pick. I think him and Mayfield are gonna make some magic this year..... More than expected in fantasy leagues at the moment.

PPR and yeah I work the waivers weekly in all my leagues. In this league I picked up Watson two years ago and Mahomes last year off waivers. Part of the reason I won back to back. Need to keep an ear to the ground at all times.

I literally don’t know how I’m getting so lucky. In my 3 leagues I’ve drafted 3rd and 1st and I’m 1st in this league too. Debating on how much I should deviate with my picks lol.

How many people are in your league? TB12 is not a top ten QB anymore. I had him last year and he was so inconsistent.

Same, could end up fucking you in multiple leagues if someone got injured. I drafted Barkley and McCaffrey in my other two leagues. Really torn between Barkley again or Kamara.

12, but my rationale is that he has got more weapons at receiver than he’s had in the last few years. Worst case I work the wire, plenty of QB’s out there.

Yeah that's what I had to do last year. Ended up scooping Josh Allen when he started getting hot. The rest of your team looks stacked tho
