Fischer , full and partial boot vac

PaulBietermangot a pair fitted back in the end of may of the fischers and had a few days on them. didnt do any park, but big mountain stuff they were awesome. fit depends on the fitter for sure, but I like them more than my old lange sx120s

ive got wide feet and they feel great,didnt have to do any punches at all. I did swap an intuition liner and my old custom insoles in to them.

from the reviews ive read they should stay pretty much the same across temp ranges. most the days I had were already warm and they didnt seem to soften up at all from the mornings.

Anyone have experience with them ? Like to know if varying temps effect them much , just how comfortable they can be, how they perform everything from park to all mtn bc etc.... last is an issue for me got a wide foot and it’s time to upgrade the track 130s they have been modded to the max and are good not great

CabbyArrantBootfitter here who just bought a pair. Custom shell boots do not substitute a good shell fit. Get your butt to a bootfitter where you can try these boots on before you order them. The vaccum fit is awesome if the boots are a good fit. The vaccum makes a good fit great but it wont make a bad fit good or they wouldn't make multiple models.

SavageBiffThat is how I’d like to do it.... there are only two in my area (Pittsburgh)that I know of , one sucks , the other I don’t know about but they never have the ones I want for me to try on....unless all Fischer’s are the same which I doubt

I could order online and try on and return or sell 🤷🏼‍♂️ Not what I want

Had ground and punched multiple times to resolve pain on top of metatarsal of big toe
Custom heat moldable high arch footbeds
They start at 104mm last and I bought a 26.5 bsl

Now that they’ve packed out they are a touch long
I get a lot of pain in the pad in front of my arch still bottom of foot
And they don’t hold the ankle as well as I’d like , I can tolerate them for about 5 hours after that it’s game over

My foot is 104.75mm unweighted forefoot and is basically a rectangle heel is barely more narrow , I have high af arches ( may as well b a woman ) , high instep , (medium/small ankle and calf .

I looked at the hybrid 120 all year now it’s hard to find it’s what I wanted now the ranger one 130 or 120 sounds nice I just dunno about it’s shape related to my foot

CabbyArrantThe house has the hybrid still unfortunately you have a woder foot and it sounds like you need a footbed just for the purpose of reducing the splay of your foot. If you're going to try a Fischer dont get anything below a 103mm last.

SavageBiffThe ranger one should expand to 104 which is what my Rossi’s are and after packing out they are slightly too big
I do have custom beds for that purpose helped a lot

Looks like Dalbello has a similar tech to vacuum wonder how well it works and if the boot can actually expand , be nice to have the option of multiple companies with slightly different starting points to work off of and build a perfect as possible boot

CabbyArrantThat's a good plan. A GOOD fitter will be able to make a pair of boots work for you. Buying any boot without having tried then on is a really bad idea, and I get the not living close to a bootfitter because that was me 5 years ago. Now I work as a bootfitter on the weekends.

I’ve actually considered bootfitting, I would really enjoy helping people improve their mountain experience , and possibly save some time and money , I’ve gone from ripping my boots off on slope and putting my feet in the snow ready to cry , to only skiing for one day multiple off , to enjoying it 5hrs ish a day everyday November to April, would like to b on mountain 12 ish hrs but whatever, so I know the difference some knowledge and bootfitting can make , I wanna move west but my income is in the east, 12 more years when my youngest goes to college 👍🏻

freeskier865from what you have said the ranger one will be fine. the ranger one is just vacuum on the lower part of the Shell as well. if a shop is telling you the whole boot is vacuum they are lying to you. the vacuum process does not effect the boot at all. most fischer dealers know how to do the vacuum process. the only think is you have to wait 24 hours after it is vacuumed before you can ski it cause the vacuum boots dont use a normal PU plastic. it is there own chemical mix of plastic that gives is the capablitty to vacuum mold. as far as flex it just depends on if you want to have the tech inserts. the 130 has them and the 120 does not.
