T.L.Palmetto State Armory used to be considered low quality crap. Now it appears they're taking over the world.
Their new Dagger was just released and sold out instantly. It's based on a Gen3 Glock 19 and will accept most if not all aftermarket parts for that gun.
I would be very careful with *new* purchases right now, especially from PSA. I've been reading that QC is currently horrible and getting in contact with anyone there to fix a problem is about as easy as finding ammo.

I was referring to my sniper rifle and shotgun that I keep at a hunting ranch. Some of my friends keep rifles there as well as an assortment of paintball guns etc.
I have a group of ex soldiers etc we host/play airsoft and paintball together there with other local groups and teams. We have a shooting range, driving trails for all sorts of off road vehicles with targets along the way. A few people are allowed there privately for live ammo days.
Nice. One of my brothers friends whos dad is very wealthy has a huge 1000 acre ranch In the northeast where they have 4x4 gators and sidebysides and an armament of like hundreds of guns and enough ammo to defend their compound from thousands of armed intruders or government agents.
i love the feeling of having guns. Granted they are all long range rifles but knowing that i could run and grab my gun if some thugs took my family hostage Is comforting to me. I read about a crew of 4 ghetto thugs who took a white family hostage a couple years ago demanding they go take out millions of dollars from their bank and give it to them. They ended up killing the entire family and getting caught bc their retarded asses ordered pizza and let the pizza delivery guy see their faces and they also left fingerprints all over the pizza boxes.
So if you want to argue that its better to just go along with the demands of ppl who take you and your family hostage thinking if you play along they will not hurt you, you are DEAD WRONG and should go fuck yourself.

Well century makes the draco why are you opposed to them? One of my best buds has a century draco and I could chuck that thing off a cliff into a muddy hot spring and it would still fire when I took it out. I also have a handgun imported by century (canik from turkey) and it’s as reliable as any other firearm I’ve ever owned.

Ok boys , I need help, I just purchased a tristar semi automatic 12 gauge and it is my first gun. I believe I assembled it correctly but I am unsure , also do I need to clean/ lubricate it out of the box? Should I bring it to a gun smith before I use it? It said in the box to fire heavy or magnum loads to break it in, is this necessary? I want to be safe and not explode or ruin the gun. I appreciate the help.

I should clarify that I want a forged receiver. Maybe century has milled recievers? Idk. I'm willing to have my mind changed. In my very brief search I came up with Arsenal or Sharps had decent milled stuff. I just don't want stamped. The AK realm is a foreign language to me, literally and figuratively.

So long as you followed the instructions for assembly you should be good to go. Watch a YouTube vid if you're not sure. The ratcheting nut on the end of the magazine tube is only supposed to be tightened down by hand for easy disassembly. Wiping it down out of the box is fine. I use CLP for my gun oil. As for breaking in, if they say to do that then do it. Although, I've never heard of having to break in a shotgun, maybe that's to loosen up the recoil system for lighter loads? I assume this is a 3 1/2 inch gun, which I've never needed, so maybe that's sop for those. I just take mine out and shoot them.

Congrats on your first gun! A bit of lube on the moving parts never hurts but it should be good to go out of the box.
Just fyi, most 12 gauge shotguns have 3" chambers and can fire both 2 3/4" (two and three quarter inch) and 3" shells, but not 3 1/2" shells. The barrel should be stamped with the correct chamber size. Just something to be aware of, choosing shot shells was a little confusing for me at first.
PS. 3 inch 1600 fps+ magnum shells are a shit ton of fun

It fired! Well kind of , it fired the first round then jammed , I was able to get the rounds out and continue to use it single shot style and manually eject the cartridge after . I was using 2 3/4 inch #7 bird shot and I don’t think it was heavy enough to cycle. So I am going to spray some CLP on all the moving parts and try some 3inch #3 shot duck loads and see if that works better. I had a big misconception and thought I couldn’t fire steel loads out of the choke my gun came with (modified) so I bought a IC choke but as it would turn out you can fire steel out a modified and slugs for that matter so I think I’ll return my choke .

Personally wouldn't spend money on a Draco or stuff from Century *right now*, but if you're set on it then go with the Century. Despite being location dependant, I would creep @rms li$t because I've been seeing some cool AKs pop up on there over the last couple of months, across multiple states.

The round did not eject and the next round got put underneath it
First and foremost: QA/QC is out the window right now and I don't think it's worth paying full price (and beyond) to deal with issues. If it was here and there, then I wouldn't bat an eye, but following some of the FB groups with the 5-6 digit number of members, I'm seeing an incredible amount of issues right out of the box. From my experience with Century in the past, it was always hit or miss, now multiply that by the current climate and it's real sketchy.
Sparknotes: stuff is going for retail and way over so companies are pumping them out regardless of how well the fit, finish, and functionality turns out. Warranties are tight, but right now that's going to take a LONG time just to receive another questionable item.

Basically, the Czechs would purposely fuck up parts at the Brno factory (same factory as CZUSA) when under German occupation and building mausers for the German war effort. After the war, they took these parts, scrubbed the symbols (Swastikas, etc.) and retooled them. Some parts were different like the trigger guards are winter trigger guards. These guns were then sold all over. Many were sold to Israel and then bored from an 8mm Mauser to a 7.62. Mine is original 8mm with mirror bore.

First gun I ever bought was a Polish M44. I don't have it anymore but I too really like the old military rifles.
I admit, after seeing the movie Enemy at the Gates I had to buy the M91/30 sniper rifle. Only had it for a few years due to changes in interest and friend groups but still was a sweet rifle.

Here's a decent start. There's plenty of 'kits' out there but a lot of components are poorly made and you'll only use half of them anyways.
Essentials would be:
patches
composite cleaning rod (steel is probably fine but can scratch up the chamber). I'd choose this over a bore snake because it is less likely to break and get stuck inside the barrel.
Chamber brush (nylon or brass)
Q tips
Rags/paper towels

Not bad, but Slip2000, FireClean, and Chery Balmz are all better/easier to work with. I do NOT recommend Rem Oil or FrogLube. Additionally, anything claiming to be super safe to work with due to "organic" nature or "biodegradable" is pretty much just bullshit marketing and it does not have lubricating properties on par with the aforementioned (or straight CLP).

I agree with his response above and I just wanted to mention that there's no need to frequently clean an AR. An understanding of proper lubrication and one deep clean per year is the way. I used to clean after every time I went to the range and not only was it a waste, but it probably did more harm than good.

Thanks, again. I bought it brand new in October, have probably put 2-300 rounds through it? I don’t shoot it too often due to the obvious ammo shortage but I try to go to the range or out to the desert a couple times a month.
