oldmanskiI dont have any pictures but I have:
Marlin .22 rifle
Taurus .38
Taurus .357
Smith & Wesson .45
And a few various old Browning guns(John Browning, aka Browning arms) is my great, great, great grandpa. He was a Mormon back in the 1800's in SLC and had 10 children so there are quite a few family members involved,LOL. My cousin has one of the very first Browning semi automatic guns he made. Pretty cool.
DolanReloadedStop nerfing up my thread you pesky kids.

Monsieur_PatateI'm actually picturing you dressed up as the punisher shooting pictures of middle eastern looking people stapled to mannequins yelling "USA, hell yeah, get some, MAGA".
Am I close? I think I'm close.

_GHOSTWhat guns do you have?
.frenchyno, you're just a fucking idiot.
SuspiciousFishDamn thats awesome man. I used to work for an insurance broker in SLC and one of our clients was Browning. Its cool to check out their office up in Morgan, UT. I have some distant family that was part of the OG Mormon crew. His name was Whitmore and he built a house in Nephi that is a bed and breakfast now. He was sent down to Pipe Springs to check out the area and was killed by Indians but some in the know think he was assassinated by Brigham Young. His grave is in St. George and it actually says "KILLED BY INDIANS" on his gravestone.

QuantumMechanicI wasn't gonna jerk off tonight but here we are...

QuantumMechanicAny AR guys have any experience with Black Rain Ordnance? Can't seem to find anything flagrantly bad about their products, and I'm pretty close to pulling trigger (lol) on their Spec-15 platform that comes mounted with a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 at my local Sportsmans Warehouse. Forged mil spec upper/lower, nitride BCG, chromoly 1:7 twist barrel. For the price point on the gun, the furniture seems to be pretty basic...MOE grip/stock and a simple G.I. trigger. $1403 after tax.
My other option is to get a Springfield Saint FFH and buy the same scope separate and mount it on the rail myself. Comes with better furniture for the price point (BCM Gunfighter grip and stock) but the same GI trigger (just with a fancy nickel boron coating that doesn't really matter). Forged upper/lower, shot peened BCG, chromoly 1:8 twist barrel. $1372 after tax. Biggest difference here is the better-known reliability of the Springfield platform. Also would have to drive 3 hours one way to Utah to buy this one, so that's another probably $60-70 in gas for my truck for the trip plus 6 hours of my day.......lack of convenience vs better-established product reputation.....
Anyone got 2 cents here? Thx in advance
JAHpowSaint is the clear winner.
It's mid length gas which runs cleaner and more efficient than carbine length (black rain is carbine) (If I were choosing for you this would be my deciding factor)
1:8 is the happy medium for stabilizing heavy and lighter rounds. (You'll never know the difference though unless you're shooting loooong range and looking for it).
Marginally smoother trigger.
Better looking.
Black rain you're just paying for the name. There's nothing special about that one.
You could build for a couple hundred less (or more)
