skiermanWhenever someone phrases a question like this, I just tell them to stay the fuck outta the backcountry before they get themselves killed.
SofaKingSickhaha yeah, people asking for ski weight recommendations for touring is a serious safety concern as we all know...
skiermanExcept he's not asking for weight recommendations, he's asking if its possible. This kid has zero knowledge about touring, therefor he should stay the fuck outta the backcountry.
SofaKingSickhe asked if it's doable, which any person with half a brain can infer as being a question of whether or not it will be feasible or if the size and weight will make it an issue. i know you're not unable to figure that out, you just are more eager to run to the "backcountry safety sermon" nonsense
KevskiI feel like the question of suitability for touring the Candide 2.0 is less the size and weight and more about whether you want to tour on a centre mounted symmetrical ski or not.
Obviously this depends on how you’d want to tour on them, how much touring vs resort and how you like a ski to ride, but people often go with a more directional option when getting out of the resort.
