I used a pair of 188 ARV 106s with a cast system as my quiver of one last season at Mt. Baker. I loved the versatility of the set up. I was able to take park laps on hood, resort laps in every kind of snow at baker, and I did a long winter camp tour as well as a bunch of side country smaller tours for mini golf and bc jump builds. My only gripe was that sometimes I wished I had a slightly wider/more rockered ski for the really deep days, but that's to be expected given its width and camber profile. Also, be careful with the skin clips, on one of my first tours of the season i ended up taking a little chip out of the tail because my tail clip was off center.
