safarisamI would equate this to dirtbiking. You don't see others w/ motors brapping up a protected area, so when someone uses a sled in the offseason to tear up a protected environment, it's a dick move. Most motorsport enthusiasts want to keep areas ridable not fucking ruin ones you weren't supposed to be in.
Its not like dirtbiking at all. A dirt bike doesn't have a 2.5 foot by 10 foot track and most dirt bikers I know stick to trails and don't brap fragile tundra. A snowmobile track tears shit up when not on snow, not to mention overheat the engine.
poor puppy just posted on instagram, too bad he is referencing the place he was caught near the road and not the location he posted on his ig page. I'm pretty sure the Executive Director of the Independence Pass Foundation is well aware of the snowmobiling boundaries along hwy 82 between Aspen and Twin Lakes. Either way, riding a snowmobile on tundra is a dick move.
Must suck when you self incriminate yourself and have to go into hiding because of the blowback you've created for yourself. Not too mention, he is too much of a bitch to admit wrongdoing and just apologize.
