I'm at school here at the University of Oregon, the season here has been complete shit, no snow, no fucking skiing. I need SOMETHING here...so I'm gonna buy one of this year's movies and I just wanted to see which one you guys think is the best thus far this year. Loved 1242 and RFA so please, just give me and idea...I've got my Visa card ready...

X has some ridiculously good segments, but high 5 is better as an overall movie.
depends what kind of skiing you like watching.
and i liked wski106 but tons of people didnt, theres not so much skiing in it, but tanners segment is nuts

Yeh, I want to see skiing and I've heard the same thing about WSKI. I loved Ready, Fire, Aim just because there was an ample amount of skiing...it didn't really get old. Good music too. I dunno, I'm dying down here though, brand new pair of Fujis and no fucking snow...

high five is a decent all around urban movie with some other shit in it too. WSKI is no good for the money, breathe and stop is one of my favorite movies, after i watched it a few times, redtape is a very well done movie but nothing really struck me as super duper, but it often gets overlooekd but is super sick. Those are the only movies from this year I own.

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

if ur into like big mountina and back counrty get yearbook.siickest movie but yes it does have bass jumping in it. but is rated the best skiing ilm of the year by ski press.i would reccommend eaither x or high five. high five is my personal fav. for this season

Wicked is a necessary purchase. Although all EC park, it still manages to be one of the best movies ever produced. It is always my first recommendation. That aside:
For all around skiing get X, for a well edited movie, get Redtape. By all accounts, High 5 is pretty much pure urban, if you're into that.

BUY X!!! by far the best movie of the year. I own it and have watched it over a dozen times. Good mix of park and backcountry lines, REALLY GOOD soundtrack, awesome camera angles. I cannot express how good it is, BUY IT!!
