Replying to Skier Engineers

So I work as an engineer in an industrial setting. In a few years I would like to start making my own skis but I really want to develop the concept of fitted skis before then. Skis are the least scrutinized peace of equipment we have but make a huge impact on what terrain we can ski and our enjoyment. I would like to toy with making skis designed for people's unique use cases so over the course of the next few years I want to start collecting data over people's preferences about their skis for the purpose of creating models that predict the optimum ski characteristics. This is not only a tool for the creation of skis but also for choosing the optimal pair off the shelf. So I was wondering if there are any engineers out there that might be interested in participating? Also I just wanted to get people's opinion on the project as well. All models would be open sourced to allow you to find your optimum ski
