Favorite Level 1 moment?

So it's been 20 years of Level 1 Productions. What's your favorite moment, clip or segment? I think mine is Scott Hibbert's crash segment from [i]FORWARD[/i]. Or LJ Strenio's segment from [i]HABIT[/i].

Basement Dweller

The Echo Mountain park shoot from Real Time is one of my most-watched ski videos as a little grom. It was right when I was just getting interested in freeskiing and would spend ungodly amounts of time (as we all have done) watching that and other stuff like the OG 4bi9 edits and ski movie trailers. Good times

Lots of other little moments and things that stood out to me. Some other favorites would be Parker Whites ender in I think Sunny or Less., I can't really recall because I both got each movie with the t-shirt bundle they have available on their website store. The legendary mammoth park shoot in Refresh, B-dogs segment in Eye Trip, Hornbecks segment in Sunny, and soo many more.

Thank you to everyone involved with Level 1 over the years for the insanely hard work and effort you folks put into making ski cinema classics. The premiers and the stoke and the community aspect alone of just bringing everyone together to watch top-notch skiing is something I'll always smile about. Ski movie premiers in general are still the fucking shit.

P White’s After Dark segment immediately comes to mind.

The warren miller narrated Refresh intro was one of the most surprising and amazing moments I’ve ever seen in a ski flick.

Man this is a cool idea for a thread and I hope people mention a ton of shit I forgot.

The Hood park shoot from 08 or 09 where Wallisch did the motionless zero spin.

The P. White MONSTER front flip at Sun Valley I think.

Ahmet’s segment in Eye Trip I think with the Chip the Ripper song was unreal.

Delorme and Casabon in I think it must’ve been Refresh and all the New Era edits that came with.

Liam Downey and Tanner Rainville’s shots in Real Time (and the shtick of chronological segments instead of rider parts and the calendar)

Duncan Adams opener in Habit I think?

Of course Vanular basically inventing “modern” style and rideaway. I know Mik D and THall were pretty ahead too, but Vanular to me ushered in that next era and was very influential to Wallisch.

Dude watching c-vans segment in high five is fuckin insane. His style is just so next level compared to everyone else. Watching it gave me chills.

i don't really have a specific favorite segment or clip, however, Level 1 Production Turbo, Refresh, Eyetrip, and Afterdark are the pinnacles of visual art in motion. I just got into freeskiing when Turbo was released back in '08.

I’ll also repeat the Warren Miller cameo in refresh. Was crazy to blend the generations of skiing and ski filmmmaking and give serious validation to our type of skiing. Legend.

When Travis Redd landed switch in pow for Steele after Steele nailed that tree.

Stefan Thomas’ perfectly “grabbed” spins. Dude was a calculated smooth machine.

And Vanulars LSS segment still holds up hard to this day.

Loving all these. This whole 20 years of level 1 is bringing back some seriously good nostalgia.
