What width pivot brake for k2 marksman also Mount point reccomendations

I’m getting some pivot 14s and some marksmans but I don’t know what width brake to get and where to mount them (Preferably between -2 and true center I’ll be doing a lot of park) help me thanks

I’d mount at -2 , that’s plenty close for park and adds a little to the wall mountain experience

I believe your only option for a brake is 115, maybe they can be modified bc that’s gonna stock out , I’d like to see better answers to this ? As well as I’m searching for another ski as well

Dont get marksmans for park
They are asymmetric
Very bad for park as u cant switch skis to make edge dammage even

Get a 95 brake and bend it out. the 115 will be too wide.

marksman for park is a dumb idea.

I was agreeing. If he really wants something that wide for park he should sell the marksman and get the bentchetler 100. The poachers are heavy. k2 in general are very heavy skis

Agree with mounting them at -2, had them further back at first and they sucked. Used them for park for most of a season and they are pretty heavy, not a great park ski, plus i broke one of the edges hitting rails but shit happens.

We could tell him to switch off the Marksmans all day there are tons of better skis everyone has a favorite for park , not everyone has a quiver , but if u favor park marksmans a bad bet , if you favor playful all mountain with park pass thrus airing it out keep the rails light then sender bud

i dunno but once you bend a little too far the brake arms can hook up on eachother and that shit is scary af.

you have to bend it out and then bend it again to align with the ski edge.They do tuck in some as well once you step in because they were 95s. The only real issue is that the brakes do not extend down on release as much as they use to since you bent them out some but just crank up the dins*.


*dont do that.. thats just what kids say here to sound tough
