skiermanI guess you're too stupid to realize this area has been changing for a while. I lived in Sugarhouse with a single bed/bath apt. for $500 a month until 2014. The owner said everything was being bought up to be developed including his own shit and guess what? I moved the fuck out of there. As of 2017 that same apt. was being rented for $800 a month. Kids like you who feel you can get away with a house if everyone paid $600 month for a fucking room when there are other options a 10 min drive away for $150-200 less are nothing short of fucktards.
You're not going to find a roommate, you're going to get kicked out because you live with a bunch of uneducated, privileged jackasses.
skiermanI find it hilarious you're trying to defend this jackass who refuses to listen to reason.

Titus69You don’t think I’m aware sugarhouse has rising prices for rent?
skiermanand just earlier today....
"Bump need a room filled in our house in Sugarhouse ASAP"
BRO IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE IN PERFECT FINANCIAL SHAPE WITH YOUR CURRENT RENTAL SITUATION. I HOPE YOUR WEALTHY WHITE FAMILY CAN MAKE UP FOR YOUR SHITTY DECISIONS
Titus69Lol I love how you still assume my parents fund my life, I’m on my own out here, my mom got unemployed from this corona shit. We have an extra room to rent and would be nice to be paying a bit less per person, dipshit.
skiermanAnd yet you refer to Sugarhouse as a place for ski bums to live.
HAHAHAHAHAHA

Pigeon.u must not have friends where u live in slc u hella salty
Titus69Didn’t wanna stay in this house but with Rona and shit I wasn’t gonna move right now. Where do you suggest living instead?
skiermanYou kids are fucking morons for getting a place in Sugarhouse.
IanAvery-Leafbro all I'm reading is you're salty you moved and are taking out your anger on all of us who live in and love Sugar House...the jealousy and desperation is hilarious keep it up
after 6 winters of living in SLC I lived outside Sugar House last season, and after coming back to the heart of it this season it confirmed theres no where else I'd rather live in SLC, I only foresee it becoming better and better the next ~decade. That enjoyment is worth the $, and at the end of the day what else is $ for...?
Titus69Thank you for saying this, living from sugarhouse down to cottonwood heights is pretty ideal living, a lot going on socially and you’re right by the mountains. My rent right now isn’t as nice as my first spot that was a shithole but it’s nice to still be able to get on the mouth of big or little in 15 minutes.
lauraobermeyeralso on the hunt starting in late october/november in sugarhouse, had a few prospects but nothing solid enough to bank on yet

skiermanI love kids who cannot think beyond short-term enjoyments because they're relying entirely on their family's wealth to bail them out or they're simply not thinking at all and will end up gentrified out of the sweet ass bro chill spot they loved for so long. Its so entertaining especially when they ignore all evidence showing the worst drought in a thousand years, the worst fire seasons ever experienced and air quality that will consistently match the most overpopulated cities in China.
Brah like you're totally killing it! By killing it, I mean your finances and your future. But brah, like anything for the skiski that's rapidly disappearing, right brah brah?
little1337Well then by your logic shouldn't he stay there longer to take advantage of the rapidly disappearing skiing? I mean if he can afford it right now and is happy why not just let him ski and be happy?
skiermanI don't give a shit what bad decisions this jackass makes. That doesn't prevent me from pointing out his flaws which worst case scenario will result in him becoming a homeless scumbag or best case scenario will result in him becoming a trust fund scumbag.
Titus69The rooms gonna be filled soon so can’t say we have a spot for ya, I have room open in my heart though..
AbiHrumor has it he's nicer in person........ still synical, but I'm unwilling to find out haha

IanAvery-Leafwow, guess I shouldn’t have taken the bait...
all I know is SLC is rad, Sugar House is radder, and I’m stoked to move back when covid simmers down. Although this time it wont just be for the winter, it’ll be indefinitely
skiermanMust be nice to have dat family piggy bank to choose to live in Sugar House.
IanAvery-LeafA+ insult and assumptions smh, still not sure why you’re so mad...I have two questions though:
which neighborhood in SLC did you move to?
why do you continue to act as if Sugar House is equivalent to Jackson, WY/San Fran/Vancouver with serious housing shortages and skyrocketing cost that’s unobtainable for the average skier? It’s obviously increasing but not at a crazy rate, my rent in Burlington VT the past two summers has been significantly more expensive than Sugar House living in the winter
Pachankzthread made me look last night and the rents in SLC seem much cheaper than the northeast. A 1 bdrm averages 1300 ish. Here in Portland Maine they go for more and downtown demands first , last and security up front, you have to drop like 3 grand plus to even get in the door. I pay 1650 for a 1 bdrm .

eheathMost college students are paying like 400-600 for a room in a house with roommates, just 10 years ago me and my friends would pay like 300-400 per room, if you want your own spot is obviously gonna be more, but slc housing is cheap (not as cheap as it used to be).
Titus69Plenty of my friends are still paying around 500 for their 3-4 bed spots, it really comes down to luck and digging for a good deal. You don’t need your parents trust fund to live here and ski a lot, just find the right jobs that make you a living while being able to enjoy yourself. I’m sure there’s plenty like it or better but for what SLC offers it’s kinda worth it if you work for it, fuck trying to live in summit co or Denver even, buncha granola ass ski people mixed in with a bunch of Mormon kooks is a fuckin vibe.

BigPurpleSkiSuitHoly shit that's expensive, I pay 750 for a 2 bedroom apartment in the avenues.
Pachankzit is absurd, when I moved in 3 years ago was 1350/ goes up 100 bucks a year and now it's far too expensive, looking at SLC for better skiing and cheaper rent, unsure much about the place beyond that, I am a house music dj with many years experience djing clubs around Boston and Portland and would like to continue that, but totally unsure if there's even a house music scene in SLC. tips? advice?

Titus69Could probably do clubs in downtown, and park city has a few that are kinda in that vibe, my friend works at one a few days a week and makes bank off tips. Not bad to look into, at the least there’s still plenty of easy side work to find.

aka renting
but yeah bro your killin it
