So I have a Cease and Desist setup with shifts but I started to realize skin clips are probably gonna be an issue. Asymmetrical tips and rounded tails. Shiitake. Any skin clip solutions?

I wouldn't worry. The C&D's tips and tails' asymmetry is pretty subtle, so I doubt you'd have issues. In my experience, G3's tip and tail hardware is the most versatile and secure (I've gotten it to work well on the new, asymmetrical Blizzard Spur), but I imagine that the bar-style hardware from brands like BD, Pomoca, and Contour would work just fine.

Gotcha. Just bought a pair of g3 ascent skins. Thanks for the suggestion!

Or for BD's: You can dremel a notch into the tails. There is enough tip spacer for a 2-3mm deep cut. Sand over to get fiberglass splinters off.

I dremelled a groove in the tail plastic of my sick day 114's to accommodate the standard g3 tail clip. If you can't or don't want to do that on your skis then just buy the twin tip connector.

Scott makes some skins for their twin tip pow skis like the cascade series. Just trim a pair of those down
