Those are this years just some shitty filter or shitty pics washing the color out. If you look at the bindings you can tell. And on the middle pic you can tell its this years graphic.

Been a life long Armada fan, yet this kind of behaviour scares the shit out of me. Sorry that I tried to find out beforehand if you didn't change anything about your ski for next season, so I can plan what I buy over the summer... Sue me Armada, sorry you are not the company you were before JP passed.

I really don't understand how a company protecting their IP until they are comfortable releasing it is being perceived as a douchey move.
Anyone who has access to a catalog before the information it contains is public is expected to be discrete. It's entirely within a company's rights to police those sorts of leaks. It's not censorship, it's not a violation of free speech, it's not an indicator that NS is "sold out." It's basic business practice.
There are plenty of reasons not to want that info out there yet. For one, it can slow down sales of current model skis through dealer networks which means your local shop gets screwed. For another, for brands like Armada that are owned by larger companies, it's not just their tech in that catalog, Amer's binding tech applies to Armada, Solly, and Atomic. It's not just their info about potential new products in there.
So yeah, it's fun when there are "leaked" catalogs, and it's always fun to speculate on next year's stuff. But you can't be butt hurt when a company tries to actually keep stuff under wraps that some idiot rep leaked to some kid.

Okay look mr. 2 day member, it’s pretty conceivable that a brand doesn’t want all their details shared before trade shows. What if that info goes further into the public? Then what could have been a sale on this years ski turns into next years ski. Obviously that’s going to the extreme but it’s how a company has to think.
edit to add: stop blaming armada personally for deleting the posts, as it probably isn’t them. Any new catalogues for next years product would likely to be deleted. screenshots of insta stories and so on are completely different than fine details in a catalogue.

If brands don’t want information leaking out so early maybe they should stop trying to push the sales calendar to the left every year.
Brands show their line and catalog to thousands of young underpaid shop employees, athletes, and media types earlier and earlier each year, and then get pissed when shit leaks earlier and earlier each year...
At least crack open an NDA or two and get some ink wet.

Is it just me or does armada have a shit ton of overlap in their jibby pow skis? Now they have the arg 2, the magic j, the arv 116 normal and ultralight, and now sammys ski. Both arvs and the whitewalker are around the same width underfoot and the only difference I can really see between the whitewalker and ultralight is the pointy tip and a race base. I dunno seems like they could get rid of the magic j (sorry T-hall but you don’t even ski that ski anymore) and maybe the ultralight since the whitewalker is probably just a better version...?

I have a few ideas about the AR50 sidewall on the ARG, and I think it makes sense. First off, that ski is absurdly heavy. Going with more sidewall (which would potentially mean a slightly thicker core profile and more ABS) would make it even heavier. In hand, they actually don't feel all that heavy, which I think is mostly due to the taper but also maybe the thinning of the core and lack of heavier sidewall material in the cap portions.
The underfoot sidewall portion of the ARG is also incredibly stiff, and I feel like you wouldn't really want that sort of ski to be super stiff throughout more of its length (though the flex obviously could be tweaked by changing the core profile).
Probably most importantly, with an ultra surfy, pow-specific ski, I feel like the sidewall is way less necessary than it would be on a ski you'd use on firm snow where you want more strength and power transfer to your edges. This is all just conjecture (haven't skied them), but I don't think the short sidewall is a big deal on a ski like the ARG II.
