boom? pro film audio?

I'm not sure exactly what your looking for, but you could try buying a shotgun microphone from Sennheiser or Audio-Technica and mounting it on your camera or on a boom pole, which will allow more control.

what are you trying to accomplish? You need software reccomendations too?

i'd need it to film for a project and i want good quality audio. like i don't want echoing or shitty sound.yeah jonas, i suppose programs could be important - as i say i don't know anything about this. i'm just trying to figure out what i need and how much its gonna cost.

That should be enough info.... You might wanna consider lavalier mics??? But if cost is a concern then use a shotgun mic. If you have access to an audio program then you can really sweeten sounds up and the mic becomes less of an issue.... Ultimately I think you'd want a shotgun mic and any characters in the film to have lavaliers on... That would be pretty sweet.

If I rememeber from school properly I think a Sennheiser K66 was reccomended. However, any on that list will suffice...

You should def. buy a Nagra too and then when you are finished mail it to me. I'll pay the postage!!!!

On second thought, I assume this is for school, in which case, steal/borrow from the A/V dept. They will most def. have the required mics.
If not ebay. Buy a shitty, cheap shottie and then d/l an audio program and try and make it sound good...
