casualMan, don’t break yourself going into the summer my dude. I mean, send it if you want, but I’ve seen a lot of people get too turnt at the end of the season and fuck themselves up. Being laid up when it’s nice outside straight up sucks.
That attempt didn’t look too hot to keep it funky with you. Your balance was in such the wrong place, it couldn’t have ever went well. I don’t think the revert was the problem really, it’s definitely possible to revert without dumping a ton of speed....it’s also a great to catch an edge and fuck your self up too though.
But, maybe the revert is why you’re balance was fucked up going into it, so keep that in mind. I feel you about bombing the inrun switch, pretty sketchy, it ain’t for me, I’d probably try what you did but it’s not a lot of time to get setup that’s for sure.
Either way, I respect the send, and hope you get it if you try again! Are you a good park skier and ride switch a lot? Is this realistically in your lane? You might be dirty on skis, I have no idea, that one little clip just says that maybe this might be pushing it. But then again, one little clip can make anyone look not very good.
BigPurpleSkiSuitI can ride switch pretty well, no problems flipping it around or just riding down groomed stuff switch, and I made it across last year but that was on less grippy snow. Problem was once I flipped the sticky snow pushed my center of gravity backwards and I didnt have enough time to adjust so I just went in leaning back instead of forward. It's not out of my realm of comfort, but a few drinks made me more confident
Edit: that said I'm not some super ridiculous park shredder who can ride out of anything switch including sticky bumps
