Looking to work at/near a resort anywhere out west over winter break (mid Dec-mid Jan) since I go to college in SC and barely get to ski anymore
Trying to find out which resorts/positions would hire for a one month period and which resorts have good employee housing options. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be dope. Thanks fam

No ski resort will hire and give employee housing for a employee who’s working for one month. They can’t justify it when they need to retain season long employees.
Your best bet would to fine a arbnb and get a college pass. Then you could ski as much as you want wherever. Maybe find something at a restaurant or bartend to make a few bucks.
I know this seems expensive but if you went to somewhere not as popular it would be really reasonable and cheap.
Think smaller ski resorts. Top of my head Monarch, purgatory, Grand Targhee, Discovery ski resort, cooper ski.

Honestly as much as I hate vail Corp, you could get a epic pass and just bum around Colorado and couch surf NSrs. I believe the going rate for couch surfing bums is a 24 pack or 1/8 and doing the dishes.
Some of my old roommates and I let a dude crash on the couch for two weeks in Aspen at our place in the employee housing and every day the dishes were done, fresh beers in the fridge. We would of let that guy stayed there all season for that trade.

Kinda scummy but never tell any potential employer something like that. Interview like it is your dream job, and give your two week notice... after two weeks? lol
