Instagram fake charity users

Recently I have noticed a new trend on ig. There are like tons of new accounts that are like "1 repost = we plant one square km of forest" or "turn your profile pic blue and the war in Sudan will fucking end". This is a good way to gain tens of thousands of followers and then sell the account. And for some goddamn reason almost all the people think these accounts are legit. Shit is getting on my nerves.
