Replying to Freeskiing vs. skateboarding’s impact on society

Freeskiing is a very small niche within the world. Therefore, it has an even smaller impact on society. But if you take, let’s say, skateboarding, for an example, it has a much larger impact. Such as clothing. You see thrasher everywhere on kids, and everyone is rocking vans. Even tho 99.999% of these people don’t skate. So, will society ever pick up a part of ski culture? Or is skateboarding’s clothing culture the only thing that will reach the surface of society?
