i don't think you should ever mount skis directly center. thats silly. mount them at Steeles mount. its the mark behind center. So badass in the park, and will ski decent outside the park. center is for lamos.

Nah... if you want to ski them outside the park a lot, don't center mount. I did, and it's not the best option for all aaround skiing. Still works fine, just... not ideal.

i don't understand you people. I got a used pair of 181 madtrix already mounted and they were mounted with more tail than nose, not alot though, almost perfectly center, and i said f it and kept them like that. I can ride all mountain with them and this past december i rode 3 feet of powder in vail with them.

You can ride anything with a ski mounted anywhere, but it won't be ideal. My pow skis are center mounted though, and that's ideal (i have very special pow skis).
