Fucking antivaxxers. This shit is going too far. What these people don't understand is they are breaking down the protections that herd immunity offers to children and adults who truly can't receive the MMR vaccine for various reasons (immunocompromised, severe allergy, etc). They're putting other people's lives and their kids lives for that matter at risk because of their personal irrational uneducated beliefs regarding vaccines. It's infuriating.

I know the abay topic is about mumps, but since Colorado is one of the measles outbreak states, I'll just leave this ominous tid bit of information on its transmission....

"Measles transmission is primarily person to person via large respiratory droplets. Airborne transmission via aerosolized droplet nuclei has been documented in closed areas (e.g., office examination room) for up to 2 hours after a person with measles occupied the area."
