Also another note, Colorado people, any general idea how long you expect the snowpack to last up high? Doing some hikes in late June and wondering what to expect. There was very minimal last year but the snowfall was so much less also last year

eheathTBH its just annoying at this point, we got a tease of full summer (it was like 80 in slc last week) now it's just raining and 50 degrees.
Young_IPMCMaybe, but this is way better than the 100 degree weather that we’ll have almost every day in July.
CLQYou already know we be skiing Pow in late May. You will easily be able to ski in late June in some spots

ColingarnesMammoth till mid July probably
loshI left Colorado for the season like 3 days before this storm... fuk
Titus69My friends have been touring up Alta the last few days and everyday looks so insanely good up high, not blower but looks like creamy cream. Now we got rain before hot sun so time for corn season, for the second time this season.
Young_IPMCBaldy was mad sticky today, even at the top.

theabortionatorlast week when I was there it was as well. Even at like 10 am. Didnt reallize the snow was looking good through main chute till i was working my way toward the high sholder. That snow prolly would have been good. At least better.
Unfortunately non of my friends that live/had lived there were around or free. Prolly were some good areas I just dont know the mountain well.
eheathI would argue a sunny day in May is much better than most spring/summer/fall days in utah, sucks when it just rains for 10 days straight.
