115mm brakes on a 102mm waist ski?

So I bought a dope pair of pivots and the brake size on the heel piece is 115mm. I am mounting on the magnus 102s (either center or -1cm) and I was wondering if 115 was too big of a brake. Should I trade with my friend who has a 95mm heel piece, try and bend/replace them, or leave them? Thanks

Trade for 95mm. Fits over 102mm M102 without issue.

the P95s can fit on skis up to 106 wide without much effort. I'd definitely swap with your friend. i currently have a pair of P115s on my Magnum Opus without issue as well and those are 124 wide

115 will be good. 115 brake will be about 3.5mm overhang on each side...basically nothing. In a pinch I think 95s would work too tho, with some bending

95 will (barely) work. We've put both. But most go 115. Generally we go 95mm on skis 102mm wide and down, 115mm on skis 108mm and up (nothing between 102 and 108).

what do you mean? what do you do with 102-108 waist skis? or are you just saying on3p has no skis in that waist width range?

Yes just saying we have no skis between 102-108, so our divider is 102 gets 95mm / 108 gets 115mm. As I said, you can make a 95mm brake work on a 108mm wide ski. But that is about max.
