KloutTrout420any thing you would have done differently?
TRVP_ANGELJust remember that bill gates and steve jobs dropped out of college, not high school...that you're in
oldmanskiEmployers look at this and if you cant do school, then you probably cant do work.
KloutTrout420They turned out okay ig
.MortonMost people will probably say not dropped out. If you're talking about high school then you are making a giant mistake and if you're talking about college then prepare for years of shitty jobs
JoeF2661You don't need a college degree to have a great job and make good money.
ChadThundercockOh NVM - this is just another Trvp throwaway account
oldmanskiI know school can be tough and very challenging.......... Tough it out, hang in there. Its like learning a new trick that kicks your ass every time you try it, it hurts, its painful, it may take you a few seasons to figure it out but the reward for sticking the trick is priceless. School is the same, stick it out, get your diploma I reassure you you will benefit from it later in life. If anything, get your GED if you cant do school. Employers look at this and if you cant do school, then you probably cant do work. Just my 2 cents. Best of luck homie.

SavageBiffI dropped out now I’m 35 and I have some nice things that I slave to get....
But I see massive amounts of young couples , 10 years younger than me , with 40x the money , 10x the house , 4x the free time , 100000x the quality of life and happiness bc they have a proper job and the benefits
School is the small price you pay for the life you want and will end up with bc whether you know what your doing or not you will have a piece of paper that says you do and you’ll get paid for it
The life I want is what I don’t have bc I didn’t spend the time in school , if I don’t slave hours , I’m poor , my kids go without , I’d b a disappointment to those I love , couldn’t afford my weed my car my quiver nothin
Your choice.... but unless you end up like gates.... your gonna suffer
ACID_wrong
ChadThundercockI don't know any 25 year old couple that makes like 5M per year because of their degree. Most people are in debt until their 35-40 because of that
skeirmanEvery statistic and metric says otherwise.

SavageBiffMaybe u live in or near d ghetto? Maybe u dropped out too and things didn’t turn out ? Maybe I’m wrong
The average couple is probably 200k in my area which ant shit so your kinda right but....
Maybe it’s the area I live in or maybe it’s bc I work for so many different rich shmucks , doctors , a few lawyers, rental property shmucks which I’m one of proudly , and all kinds , but that seems to b the average for these uppity shmucks I work for, not to mention the shitheads that inherited the asphalt plant after already owning multiple large companies, and every twenty something around here got a 500k house , multiple vehicles and they don’t work idk what they do but their wives are shopping , they’re fishing or what the fuck ever , fresh dry cleaning delivered daily , I mean wtf
My main quarrel is a diploma always gets you more , I’m not bitter my life is dope but damn anyone who advocates a kid dropping out is a jackass
KloutTrout420Fuck school and whatever💁♀️ Anybody here drop out and if so any thing you would have done differently?

Monsieur_PatateYour main quarrel is right, with the caveat that your numbers are not representative of the general population. From the National Center for Education (young adults ages 25–34):
" in 2016 the median earnings of young adults with a master's or higher degree were $64,100, some 28 percent higher than those of young adults with a bachelor's degree ($50,000). In the same year, the median earnings of young adults with a bachelor's degree were 57 percent higher than those of young adult high school completers ($31,800). In addition, in 2016, the median earnings of young adult high school completers were 26 percent higher than those of young adults who did not complete high school ($25,400). This pattern of higher earnings associated with higher levels of educational attainment also held for both male and female young adults as well as for White, Black, Hispanic, and Asian young adults."
So a young adult couple with a Bachelor's degree will, on average, make $100k/year. Not sure where you live but $200k/year is def way above average.
But your main point definitely stands, stats clearly show that higher education leads to higher income, that's just a fact.
The Pew Research Center also has stats showing that educated workers are among the most satisfied with their jobs, and graduates also report higher well being.
Now I'm sure you'll find exceptions with people who dropped out, created a successful business, made bank and retired at 30. You'll also find people who got a master's degree and went bankrupt. Stats are just numbers, but if in doubt, odds are that getting your degree is the safest route.
To be fair, Bitcoin also has a point that paying off student loans take a long ass time, research from the Citizens Financial Group suggests that 60 percent of student debt borrowers expect to pay off their loans in their 40s.
That's about the only point he has and, on its own, it doesn't justify not getting a degree for all the other reasons I outlined. The rest of his argument is just nonsense, and I wouldn't believe anything he says anyway, the man clearly has a lot of issues, mythomania being one of them.
Also buying a Rolls at 22 when you work at the post office is about the dumbest financial move a young adult can make.
