Replying to Whats the deal with cartwheels on skis???

I was up at snowbird yesterday and there was a little 5 footer under the lift i was on. Some kids were jumping the cliff flipping halfway, landing on their heads, and then rolling out of it. As me and my friends were mocking them, theyu yelled up at us that it's a new trick called a cartwheel. Has anyone else seen this kind of pathetic attempt at 'inventing' a new trick???
