Whats the deal with cartwheels on skis???

I was up at snowbird yesterday and there was a little 5 footer under the lift i was on. Some kids were jumping the cliff flipping halfway, landing on their heads, and then rolling out of it. As me and my friends were mocking them, theyu yelled up at us that it's a new trick called a cartwheel. Has anyone else seen this kind of pathetic attempt at 'inventing' a new trick???

it seems like this stage of life for a lot of people around our age is like when you are playing a video game and you beat the Final Boss, only to find out that was just a decoy Final Boss and the real Final Boss is about 50x harder. and on top of that, you used all your special tricks to beat the Decoy, and you are also low on life. and you have a crappy third party controller.

generally thay are something to be done in chopped out powder when you're just screwing around when headed down the hill(more specifically boring parts)

I'm not bitching on them for doing cartwheels. I'm bitching on them for purposely landing on their heads. 14 year-olds don't have the mental capacity (apparently) to distinguish safe skiing and stupid skiing. It would be a very bad thing for our sport If resorts and manufacturers were getting sued by parents because their kids are paralyzed from doing some stupid trick they thought looked cool. Lets think about this people!
