OregonDeadUsed to see guys doing at Mt. Hood a lot but then it got a little too much publicity when that guy started going for height records and sending in articles to the wind surfing mags. Turns out a lot of people including a lot of forest service guys think it's illegal to fly kites in the wilderness. It's banned at the ski areas and basically all the adjacent areas that don't have trees are wilderness.
