RparrStory time, actually. I was sitting at the top of the opening day park this past season. My friend and I were trying to film a clip amongst the madness of the opening day crowd. Some girl who was way too drunk already at noon starts essentially making fun of me when I was gesturing to my buddy with the camera that I was ready. She proceeds to stand right between me and the feature, asking me all sorts of absurd shit like "What are you going to do?!?" "How can I help you??" "Do you want me to pull you in bro?". It was clearly meant in an antagonistic manner, so I told her that she can help me by staying out of my way and by not being an obnoxious drunk. This proceeded to enrage her posse of 14 year olds that she had fawning over her. You can actually hear them heckling me at the beginning of this clip when I dropped in. Psycho chick proceeds to mouth off even more when I hike back up for another attempt. I was actually afraid she would swing at me.

PhreeKandiThere are a bunch of ski team kids (around my age, so highschool) who can pretty only ski jumps. They can only like back 2 rails, but even in the rail park they act like they're the best and own the parks. It ruins the vibes, cuz they snake on purpose, laugh at people doing actual hard rail tricks, and flex the faction candide 3.0s with look pivots, while asking if your pants are goretex. I honestly hate these kids so much. They ruin it for everyone trying to have fun. Me and my friends wanna sign up for usasa, just so we can shit on them in the local rail jam and they'll understand that paying 15000 a year to ski, doesn't make you the best.

LvlcrankSnowshoe is pretty atrocious too. They have snowboard “ski” patrol, and no one seems to have a clue how skiing or ski resorts work. Not to mention everyone in camo or wearing bmx helmets, or the lifts from the 1980s

Bottom line Bob, for you non-yinzers, is a cheap, evil, West Virginian billionaire heir to a tobacco fortune (built on the backs of slave labor), and owner of 7springs and the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team (among other holdings like newspapers). Yes, the same man who traded away Andrew Mccutchen for a bag o' peanuts also ruined an awesome mountain. SHAME.

They really only hit jumps and cant hit rails for shit, (their rail jam runs are really sad, just front 2's and back 2's and the occasional front swap) so when they go to the tow rope park they act like they're the shit. I went for a front 3 swap to switch on a z-tube and slid out when I got the 3 around and I heard one of them shout at me "Nice trick you fucking faggot" and another one said that that trick is easy yet that kid cant even front swap consistently. I landed it second try though right in front of them, they were talking some shit it was kinda funny.

plain and simple, just because you built "the first urban terrain park", and temporarily held the title of "#1 in the east" doesn't mean you can ride off of that success forever and just stop trying...
On top of all of that, the supepipe is still annually the biggest waste of money (that no-one can even ride), they keep losing key EXPERIENCED staff members that actually "run the show" because they simply don't pay enough, they waste ridiculous amounts of money and resources on comps and shoots that take away from the average riders experience and paints the wrong image of what the parks are actually like on any given day.
The worst part of all of this is springs is still one of the highest funded parks in the country, theres no reason we shouldn't be on the same level as places like boulder, and key..
The only thing we can do is keep bitching and writing emails

The.FishI feel like they need to make a park that is just standard features without all of this new creativity bs. They think they want to be different and build things that aren't popular, but there is a reason that simple features are popular. I am not saying that having a creative park is bad, but you can't leave out basic features that make learning new tricks a whole lot easier.
