I mean, this is pretty standard for resorts this time of year. Late afternoon temperatures and sun angles wreak havoc on slushy snow. It gets dangerous, hard to groom, and just all-round crappy. Spring skiing is best done early so you can ski the snow at its best, and have an apres beer during the hottest part of the day.

pretty sure PO is in the states. shops in the northeast have been carrying it. Carinthia lodge shop had a bunch of it this past season.
