If you haven’t seen it, read this thread at your own risk I guess.

I thought it couldn’t have been a better ending to the Infinity Saga, it was incredibly done. Also liked how Cap got his last dance.

What are your guys thoughts?

I tried making a thread when infinity war came out last year lol it seems the ski community has a negative predisposition against comic book movies.

Seemed like a parody.
Best part was when Tony died and Potts said it's gonna be okay someone's Siri came on and said "sorry I couldnt understand that could you repeat" and everyone was laughing. It was hilarious .

Honestly thought infinity war was much better, imo it started horribly by just dusting Thanos in like 2 seconds. I honestly rooted for him from the beginning because he truly sacrificed everything for what he thought was the greater good. Even cap said he saw a pod of whales in the harbour. Anyway decent movie but not enough fighting. The scene were cap gets Thor’s hammer and channels lightning was my favourite parts by far the best character

I missed some movies. So I was lost at who was doing what and why. Too much time travel and jumping around. I see a character for 10 sec and I am supposed to know him?

I just wasn't a big enough fan boy for this one.

The first two hours were pretty good all things considered. It fell apart once we got the stereotypical thanos comes back to avenge himself and then the epic battle they almost lost the captain marvel comes and saves the shit after she briefly appeared at the beginning with no purpose. I also hated the end. They put too much emphasis on the characters that had actors with terminating contracts and not enough on, like, you know, everyone else. I wanted to see what happens to Nick Fury, doctor strange, ant man etc. cool concept but the end was disappointing.

I thought it was nuts. I think that people look to far into it. its still just a movie at the end of the day. While the time traveling scenes were a little confusing, I thought that it was a great way to pay a small tribute to the other Marvel movies that made End Game possible. Ive never been a huge falcon fan but when he said to Cap "On ur left" I think that that was one of the best parts. Also, it was so sick when Cap fought with Mjolnir (Thor's hammer) It also included what I think might be the greatest single frame of any movie ever when it was just cap standing against Thanos' entire army.

My only two critiques were that I wish cap gave his shield to bucky at the end of the day, and I wish that Black Widow had a funeral too.

One thing that sucks is I'm never gonna experience anything like this ever again. No movie in my lifetime will have 22 movies and 11 years leading up to it. I will never watch Avengers End Game for the first time ever again.

There is no way Marvel is done making movies. They will just start a new marvel universe and the whole process will play out again. They would be fools to stop as every single movie is a huge box office hit making hundreds of millions of dollars.

I still feel like nothing in the future can be the same as the climax that endgame was to the 11 years leading up to it. They really couldn’t have concluded the infinity saga any better. But I am definitely hyped to see what marvel is gonna do moving forward. Especially with nick fury.

I heard that marvel is taking a break for a while tho, is that true?

It was epic in overall scope and scale of the movie. The whole franchise has easily been the most ambitious thing to ever come out of hollywood unless you account for their unnatural proclivity towards diddling kids... but that's another topic.

As for the story and characters... MASSIVE plot holes throughout. The more times people see this movie the more it's going to get torn to shreds for continuity errors.

infinity war was better in terms of individual movie enjoyment for me
good wrap up for the series and I couldn't see a way they could have made it better besides the women empowerment themes

I loved that Black Widow was killed off because she actually contributed something for once. I found it hilarious they didn't give her a funeral beyond Hulk throwing a bench into a lake.

The scene with cap standing against thanos’ army was straight from the comics got me sooo hype
