What size do I get

Been skiing since I was a little kid just got into park this season tho.. I can hit rails and do 360s thatÃ¢ÂÂs about it for rn and am considering edollos or allplays IÃ¢ÂÂm 5Ã¢ÂÂ9Ã¢ÂÂ 135

Get a soft ski that can really get you started in the park, honeybadger or similar is a good place to start. Mount em center, get fulltilts, and say your better than you really are in this forum.

I must say the edollo is probably not the ski for you, depending on where you ski.

Also, stay on this site we desperately need you.

170-180 range will look best
165-175 range will be easier to learn on

My first park skis were 167cm and I was only 5”7-“8 so I would go with something around that size. Of course everyone has preference and my brother prefers 164 chronics and is the same size and height. So if your new to park and like shorter skis in general go with the mid 160s and if you ski longer skis go with 168-172. Right now I am 5”8 and ski line blends which are 171. I personally prefer my skis to be 95-100mm underfoot for park which results in a more versatile ski overall as well.
Some good choices to think about:

edollos
J-skis allplay
Armada arv 96
line chronic
sadly magnuses are sold out I believe
stiff but economical are the surface all mtn blank or park blank

You’re 175 cm which means get 175s, maybe a little smaller if you want em a little shorter

At first you'll want something shorter, it's much easier to learn basics on, but as you get better and will want things like stability and speed, longer equals better. I like my skis a couple cm taller than me

he Sounds beyond the point of needing a learning ski and just needs to ski
can you butter yet?
Do you have a quiver ? Plan to own more than one pair of skis ? Do you want a pure park or an all mountain ski , waist width parameters ? You ski out west , east or both , just park or what ?
From line id go chronic , id also suggest faction ct 2.0 over that and a few others but need to know more about you , what you’ve skied on your likes and dislikes about each ski

Alot of good things have been said already, but I'll chime in. I'm a firm believer in you'll learn to ski the ski you have, what I mean is if you get a ski a little bigger than "recommend", you'll figure it out and be better off for it.

I want something with some width because I may hit Tahoe and killington a couple times this year and I want a soft ski something I can flex I’m kind of set on the all plays. J really seems like he knows what he’s doing .. I’m 19 tho wouldn’t consider myself a youngin.
