I have been a fan of Saga gear since the beginning but as of lately, I no longer want to rep their gear. I ordered a Mutiny jacket a month and a half a go, and I have never received an invoice or shipping confirmation from them even though they took my money directly from my PayPal account. They have never responded to a single e-mail I have sent nor have they responded after I filed a PayPal claim against them. Andy Mallett's e-mail is bouncing back as unavailable. Is this the beginning of the end of Saga? I know I will never order from them again after this ordeal.
yeah they totally fucked up this year. I bought some gear at sale in the end of feb, it took them 3.5 weeks to ship! Their email CS is almost non-existent. I only got some help when I wrote in IG dms

Still waiting on our order after 5 months. Their infrequent replies have been worrisome; one indicating they didn’t even see our order. Never replied to the follow up with a screenshot of the confirmation/invoice. Don’t know if they are being shady or have gone fully incompetent. This ain’t the saga I bought from 7 years ago..
A couple people commented on their 4/17 instagram post (the only one that has allowed comments in the last couple months ...) asking where their gear was and commenting about the lack of response to emails/DMs. All of those comments were deleted this morning. Sounds pretty sketch to me.
Has anyone gotten a response on the status of their order this week? I got a reply via instragram that the customer service team is working through issues and responding to customers on a daily basis ...
Do they have so many issues built up in the customer service queue that mine hasn't been reviewed in the 75ish working days since my order was placed lol? Are they understaffed? Either way I'm getting frustrated.

Today they responded on IG that they are “getting to it”. They seemclueless and having major internal issues. About a month ago they got back to us saying they didn’t even see we had an outstanding order! They didn’t respond to our reply which included the order confirmation. we received 2 hoodies we ordered but they haven’t responded since about the missing order in question (which was all accessories). At this point we just want a refund and are very disappointed in how they handled communication for this almost 5 month wait on some face tubes lol.

Same boat, ordered like a week ago and haven't heard anything since. I also sent an email about something else to customer service like 3+ weeks ago to no response.

That DM from them seems like it was written by someone who doesn’t speak English as their first language, or even a bot honestly. I DMd them a few months back and I got an immediate reply that was a) written in better English and b) containing an email address to speak to someone more directly. That correspondance seems a little odd

I was looking for a pair of Anomie bibs back in January and when I DMd them, they gave me an email address for customer service. I emailed them and they tracked down a pair in my size that someone had returned, since they didn’t have my size in stock. I know people have bad experiences with them but every time I’ve ordered from them, I’ve gotten things on time, and they’ve been super helpful. I feel like there is definitely something going internally with them so I don’t think they deserve all the hate but that’s just my opinion.

I have had great luck in the past, but that was like 4 years ago. After seeing something like this it’s definitely a deterrent to buying saga.

maybe they are just absolutely swamped with the end of season sale. I know saga is legit so I am totally willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
They finally replied to me that they still haven’t received the headwear items from this last season. 5 months later and they gave a real answer. Submitted a PayPal refund claim, been buying saga occasionally for nearly 10 years and their customer support was atrocious this time around. Again I’d give them a pass if they managed to correspond on a timely basis. Ordered a hoodie that came quickly as usual at the beginning of the season. But if you don’t have the product with no expectation of getting it perhaps you should notify those who preordered the goods..

Thanks for bringing this up. At this point, I've filed a paypal dispute because it has been almost 6 weeks since my order with only this sorry excuse to show for it:
"We are looking into this now and will report back. We have had a number of warehousing and fulfillment issues due to using a temporary fulfillment service provider while we relocate. We are moving to a new headquarters to expand the brand and making the investments to improve our business into the future. Unfortunately this has resulted in you and some other customers having a poor experience with this temporary solution. We understand this is unacceptable and take full responsibility for the confusion and poor delivery. We are currently working to resolve this issue so that none of our customers have to go through this ever again."
and then after I asked for another update about 3 weeks later I received this:
"Unfortunately we have not received any updates regarding the shipment of your order. As soon as we have new information we will provide that to you. If you would like to cancel your order, please let us know."
Maybe this will give some of you hope to wait for your item, but I told them to either give me a shipping number or a refund.

I've gotten some of the same responses as some of you. I'm very frustrated and just want the item's i ordered. Saga has dropped and deflated the ball and i don't think i could order anything from them again.

Just wanted to let you know you have 180 days after purchase for protection. If you are still hoping to receive your stuff just keep that date in mind if you plan to get a refund. Now Saga themselves could give you the refund after that date if you ask but with how shady they've been I wouldn't count on it.
Also, whats stopping us from showing up to their SLC warehouse demanding answers? Perhaps someone could wield a chain or battle axe for intimidation purposes. David Lesh would never do us like this!
What do you expect from low cost clothing that comes from china? And thats coming from someone who rides in the 3L bibs. Production/shipment was probably delayed and instead of owning it they are just forgetting about it until when/if the stuff comes in
Yeah ordered $300 worth of stuff back in December 14th, finally talked to them in February and they have neglected to ship, or even return my cash. End of Saga? Who knows...
