theabortionatorI follower more on the snowboarding side but I was massively impressed the last 2 years how hard the skiers were throwing down on the rails especially. Shit was lit. Remembering a long as time ago where some girls skipped rails in slope to women throwing pretz 4s. Pretty facking legit imo.
I feel like snowboarder are really hitting the style on their dubs at the moment, I think skiing is a little behind, but will probably catch up this year. (Inb4 the obvious dubs suck, everything over 540 is a sin)
It is rad that they got rid of the double takeoffs and girls are stepping to the big jumps with big tricks. We're still at the end of the transition period imo, but it's to the point where if you aren't throwing the fuck down, you aren't making it into the bigger comps, and that's what womens skiing needed. It's not some fringe thing where a couple women are throwing big tricks, everyone has to have some serious game just to qualify. The next 2-3 year or womens progression will be far more interesting than the mens for me. I was super butthurt when womens Olympic slope snowboard was a total sketch whether bust, and I think US open got cancelled? last year. I can't remember but the women got shafted. Watching the xgames and open this year was great. T

not well known but young (like 15?!) and got rod 5's 7's and more in the bag. Not scared to send and can expect some exponential progression from her as she gets older!

SuspiciousFishMad props for this thread. Big Mtn is where its at IMO. They should do a "Tell a Friend" type tour where Line goes around to different resorts and puts together edits of local girl skiers to give them more exposure.
