I’ll be heading out to hood for a week in a week which spring pass should I acquire? I have never been to hood so which would be better during late April?

Also where would be the best place to look for camp spots?

Do you like to ski mostly park? If so then Timberline is for sure the best bet. They have lots of good features and it will just keep getting better. If you don't care about park and just want all mountain then Meadows is fun but there is a risk they might not be open 7 days a week by late April. Meadows is know for just spontaneously closing or reducing operations significantly this time of year. Timberline will have weekday skiing all the way through and has tons of all mountain fun too.

If you are coming out now, do the Tline pass. Like the comment above, they have better features and are open 7 days a week. Meadows starts shutting down during the weekdays this time of year, Meadows does have a better selection of terrain but if you are just wanting to ride the park Tline is the way to go. There is camping just below at Government Camp and the small towns below, 10-15 mins away. May want to check Mt Hood website to see if there is a camping pass to purchase before you camp, but there are parking lots up around there if you want to camp in your car or something.
