How long is too long?

My uncle will sell me On3p Kartel 108s with bindings for 250. Its an insane deal, but the skis are 186 and im 5' 10". I mean its only like 2 or 3 inches taller than me, but its such a beefy ski, im sorta skeptical.

4 years old, but my uncle got em brand new and only used them 5 times. Also they never touched a rail. I wouldn't use them in the park though just for pow and all mountain.

I’m 6’ 165 and ride a 186 K108. I’m only 2” taller than you and while it starts to feel a bit long in some tighter spaces the length is money for everything else. You’ll be fine especially with that deal.
Them being a bit “burly” will just push you a bit as you get used to them and then you’ll be stronger and better and that’s always a win.

I’m like 5’11”-6’ish and ride the 186, definitely not too long, the only time I noticed the length was in tight spots and also when buttering(but only because usually I’m doing tricks on my 181 k98s)

I’m 5’10” and I have a pair of 198 race stock GS skis that I got at a garage sail. They are fast as fuck! But I think weight has more to do with length than height. Also this thread is begging for a penis joke, suprised I haven’t seen one. I must be on the mature side of the internet again

You will be fine with those skis and you will dig them! Longer the better! 210’s were popular when I was growing up back on the 80’s.
