DogfartDps sucks
patagonialukeI don't prioritize fast bases enough to wax skis a lot
SofaKingSickthat's surprising to me, given how knowledgeable etc you seem to be. why is that?
patagonialukeMostly just laziness / convenience / being too busy. I'm typically skiing around 50+ different pairs of skis each year, and I also typically work 50-60 hours a week. So I just don't really find it worth it to take the time to wax all those skis very often. Plus, I ski at Crested Butte where the terrain is steep and I don't have to deal with a lot of slower, flatter runs.
If I was only skiing a few pairs of skis, I'd definitely wax them more often (or probably just treat with Phantom).
