Is the Faction Prodigy 1.0 good?

I've been looking for a surfy ski that is still stable at high speeds. Luckily, the faction prodigy 1.0 is exactly. Or, at least faction claims they are. Is this true. Should I invest in them?

yea kinda, especially if you're a beginner. If you're goin for somethin that floats and rips all mountain go for the ARV 96

i was thinking about that but i demoed the arv 96 and it felt a lil stiff for me

That’s surprising. I have probably 120 days on my bibbys at this point and they’re holding up great. My experience with moments durability has been overwhelmingly positive. Factions will be worse lol.

yeah for sure, im on metal a lot and within a few months edge cracks turned into delam

Oh so you didn’t take care of them and let water get into the core. Yeah that’ll happen with any ski.

yeah, i know ski a lot of rails, its how fast it happened, i got edge cracks within days which pissed me off since im not an aggressive skier. i sealed up my sidewall many times and eventually a big chunk off my ski is coming out. dont get me wrong there probably my favorite ski because of how snappy and responsive they are, but maybe thicker edges could help

Great Customer Service

Love the skis. I was pretty bummed when i clipped my edge on a rail and got top sheet delam and dented the edge. however, Faction agreed it was a manufacturing issue that the top sheet delammed so they’re shipping me a new pair for free!
