My wife and I saw Slightly Stoopid downtown SLC and we had a blast at the show. Afterward we were walking around the venue and ran into Kyle and Miles chilling with their crew and they let us party with them for a while. I remember Kyle just cracked a tall boy and saw me without a drink and said, "Hey man you need a beer" and tossed it to me. They are actually some of the most down to earth guys I have met.
Another time we saw MGMT at RedRocks and a thunderstorm came and poured a deluge of water onto the concert. There were literally waterfalls pouring down the stairs with people falling down etc. Props to MGMT for actually finishing out the show even with most of the people leaving. The gravel parking lot was probably the biggest shit show I have ever seen.
Black Crowes Palace Theater Albany 2010. Drunk dude rushed the stage and Chris Robinson grabbed the mic stand mid song and smashed the guy in the chest off the stage into the arms of security and kept signing.
David Gilmore in general was probably the best I've seen.
Realized I had to be working in Africa when my MSG, and Hollywood bowl tickets were. Old shows I could make were toronto. Sold my other tickets and drove up, saw my friends briefly, had killer floor seats center toward the front. Had to leave after the show and drive to the somewhere in the northeast. Might have flown philly. It was a wild ride but one of the best shows I've ever seen.

I was living in Switzerland, I think it was 2011 and Wolfmother opened for some big Swiss band I had never heard of at a small outdoor festival. There were probably like 100 people there to see Wolfmother, I was in the front row and literally heard them play every song from some of my favorite ski movies of all time. After the show I met up with them and the bar and they asked how I knew of them and all their music, I said ski movies and they laughed
