Recommend a ski for my massive friend?

Have a friend that wants to get into skiing (switch from snowboarding). The problem? The man is 6'8", 220 pounds, 28 years old: a beast.

He currently boards all-mountain (especially trees, groomers, and light powder), so that would be the sort of ski hes looking for. Rides in the Sierras on a 163 board.

So what are some skis that come in/are good for his size? Both more beginner oriented and advanced oriented suggestions for if/when he gets into it and improves.
From what I notice, most skis sizes start capping out in the 190s: is he stuck with custom/special skis?


Demoing and renting a variety of skis is possible FYI

Praxis Protest 196cm, Fischer Ranger 115 196cm, Down Showdown 105 202cm, Blizzard Bodacious 196cm, just to name a few tall guy planks off the top of my head.
