Replying to Having annoying time on East Coast groomers with Blends
See title, I'm with some (kinda) rad dads and moms for spring break and all they've skied so far are groomers with a lot of slippery spots. Line Blends are obviously not the best for this kinda thing especially on the steeper groomers where they get real chattery and scary at medium to high speeds. I'm starting to think I should get a more traditional flexing park ski like Surface Park Blanks or Vishnu Wets. Wondering if I should get rid of my Blends and buy skis like those instead. I suck at flexing skis on the ground though and want to learn to butter so it's good that I have Blends, but I figure it should be easy to learn on Wets or something too.
Also want to get Surface Outsiders as a possible one ski quiver but I'm not sure if they can do that so I was thinking of getting them to complement my Blends. I also think they might SUCK on any slippery groomers so not gonna solve my problem.
