3 and 6 are tied for first for me. also would anyone here argue that the movies come anywhere near touching the books? i think they're fun but the characters suck relatively

For me the first 4 were the best, the last 3 were my least favorite, but it had to do with my age. 1-4 came out when i was 8-11 so i was super into them, then the 5th book came out when i was 14 and 6th book when i was 16, I cared much less at this point and I didnt even finish the last book until a year after it came out.

Yeah agree. The movies will never be near as detailed and intricate as the books, but it's still cool to see a visual interpretation of the books. If the movies were all rated R they would have been better. Way too much violence and killing in the books for a PG or PG-13 movie

hmm i mean sure the books are better but i thought on the whole the movie series was pretty well done. i can't think of any other long (7 books) book series that became such a well-received and quality movie series, but maybe i'm forgetting something

Haven’t seen the new one but I cried watching the first. Honestly the more things they can make out of the Harry Potter universe the better. All I want in life is a 70s-style sitcom where Harry’s son lives with a bunch of delinquent magic kids in Hogsmead after dropping out of Hogwarts because he couldn’t live up to his fathers expectations of him.
