When is this shit going down. Where is it happening?

It's been a couple years since WCS stopped. Even small small renegade action. Just an NS session where the jumps aren't massive but some sick rail setups and errrbody lappin and drankin.

I'm sure we could scrounge up enough free labor between the people on this site. Would just need to pay for diesel for the most part. Also hopefully could find a place that would just be stoked to have a cool setup and event as long as they had some branding on hill for it. Hopefully could do it with a few sponsors if the costs are fairly low.

So maybe some sort of cross between superpark, and one of the ns meetups. Something chill, but with some awesome features.

Can we do this at some point?

If nothing else we should try to do an on hill meet up someplace. Public day for WCS was just a tent with a grill at the public park at Timberline. Seems like we wouldn't need to throw that much money at a place to get that arrangement.

Have it at Beartooth Basin and make it a summer thing. I would 100% drive out to build and ride.

I was supposed to build there like 2014 or 15 but they didn't have enough snow and had to cancel it. I wanna make it sometime though. Looks fun as hell.

I love camping, spring skiing, building shit, and drinking.

In terms of jib setups you can build some wild shit with minimal snow. Also some weird fun skatebowl features.

Would still be fun as hell regardless

Minnesota has the snow on the hill and empty hills still (Afton). And tow ropes.
I’m just saying if the higher up of NS are interested they could rent out a whole hill for cheap in Minnesota and have a super(little) session.
I’d work at it for free if it happens before the 10 th of April in the Midwest.

This isn’t a bad idea, something like unaffiliated’s private session they do at Tyrol basin every year. Trollhaugen would probably be the most realistic option

In the summer, nobody’s around to care. The forest service lease ends on I think the 23rd of April every year.

I think I see where those downvotes are coming from now. I meant summer hiking.

I have a splitboard so yolo but Alta doesn't even have rails, so it's a terrible choice imo.

I feel like the more random and bullshit the mtn the easier it would be to pull off. If some of the bigger places were keen it'd probably be happening. The freestyle manager from tline is now in japan year round as of last year. I do know the assistant manager though. But who knows. A lot of places don't give a fuck about photoshoot stuff anymore or want serious $$$. Idk what the deetz were on any of the wcs builds there or photoshoots in general at other mtns.

Maybe next year I'll bring my welder out to tahoe, whip up some rando rails, and toss em on a little digger track in the BC. Building the shit is easy, just finding a place that has snow and is easy to work with might be more difficult.

I think I might try and work at some random mtn in the midwest or ice coast eventually. I feel like a place like that would be down for cool builds that require minimal $$$ and bring exposure. Especially if they're trying to expand their park program.

Photoshoots have kinda died out with everything going urban. At least at the bigger mtns. Nobody really does shoots anymore.

If anyone is around Maine we will be hosting this event again next weekend at Titcomb Mountain in Farmington on Saturday. Were getting bunch of rails from Saddleback as well so it should be a pretty awesome setup.
