man i was there sunday, it was beauuuutiful. troll is open this weekend, i'm planning on just hitting that.

They totally could be open which sucks. I wish they were more like troll who just tries to squeeze every last day out of the season

I've never ridden there but a lot of places close earlier than they could because people stop buying lift tickets. The only people, if there's even many at all are generally pass holders.

In the fall, people will pay high prices to ski the white ribbon of death. In the spring people stop giving a fuck about skiing and pull out the golf clubs, take the boat out of storage etc.

It's weird that people will pay $$ even if conditions are shit on one open trail crowded as fuck, but a mountain could be 100% open with killer conditions in april and be a ghost town.

I feel you though. Hopefully you can get another weekend. Def a bummer when your local hill closes up for the season.

Wish ski resorts could have portable tow ropes and set up a little park and dump some snow from the rest of the mountain and charge 25 bucks a ticket.

Yeah I understand it from a business stand point, we’re all park rats with season passes who bring their own food so vail doesn’t make shit off us, but still it be nice to get some extra spring weekends, or in past years aftons stockpiled snow and had a day in May with a hike park which is a ton of fun
