Is my brother to blame?

So we're in the park at a medium sized jump where you can't see the run out, some kid hots the jump and crashes, just slides out of a 3. The kids dad puts up and X with his POLES standing 2 meters beside the jump. Some guy at the top tells my brother to go, and my my brother being Dyslexic and needing glasses doesn't see the x untill it's too late. He landed and avoides the kid, but got yelled at about how he's retarded by the guys dad. Is it his fault?

It's not horseshoes man. Your brother avoided hitting anyone. Also there are no rules about randomly yelling at people. Sounds like the dude didn't know what was going on in a number of ways but hey freedom of speech.
You only have to stop and talk to someone if there is actually an accident tho. so hopefully you guys just skied away.

I would bet any amount of money on the planet no one told him to go. I am calling bullshit on that detail because it is so obviously false. Also his dislexia should not be a factor in skiing safely and if it is then he shouldn’t be skiing.

in a coaching course i took, it said never to close a jump by making an x with your poles as people cant see it
they said to use your arms which are much more clear
it isnt your bros fault if he couldnt see them
